T. Rex were a British rock band, formed in 1968 by singer/songwriter and guitarist Marc Bolan.

The T. Rex discography consists of 4 "Tyrannosaurus Rex" and 9 "T. Rex" studio albums. Also 22 compilation albums, 7 live albums, 2 extended plays, 6 (Tyrannosaurus Rex) and 22 (T. Rex) singles.

The group came to an end after Bolan's death in a car crash in September 1977.
